This shoot was a great experience for me, collaborating with Justin again from our previous shoot and the same fig team (Dan In & Tim Musho) plus two with Michele Gustin and Brian Carey. I wanted to push my style and direction in these photos as much as possible and to develop that sensitive side of shooting and expose myself to as much fashion photography as possible. So I broke out of my bubble a bit ... it was interesting.

Justin and I wanted to get the standard and simplistic side of fashion photography to develop my eye for subtlety. From black and white comp card shots, to a soft key light for full-length shots, and then break it down to commercial looks.

I love photography that uses natural light and really respect photographers like Irving Penn and Richard Avedon (fav's). So my goal was to use the space and natural light to create a youthful but classic look and the styling reflected that. Working with Angela and Jahaila was a treat as a photographer because of their experience and beauty.
