figfilms creates 20th Anniversay Video

Last spring Alexandra Jusino or Exquisite Events introduced myself to Venu Gupta, Executive Director of the Chicago Committee and Christine Harris, the program assistant. The Chicago Committee is a nonprofit organization founded in 1987 by 10 minority lawyers who's initial purpose was to provide networks and support for minority lawyers, and today 20 years later has greatly expanded their vision as "the preeminent voice and agent fostering racial and ethnic diversity in the Chicago legal community and impacting the broader professions."

When I met with Venu last spring she asked fig to create a documentary video of 20 year history of the Chicago Committee. The video was to be aired at the 20th Anniversary Gala happening in November 2007. As she told me the story, the statistics, and the mission of the organization, I became excited at the rich opportunity to share the Chicago Committee's history and mission.
